Log entry 001 — who we are

We have already taken the trip you are about to book.

Norman has sailed more than 31 cruises. He plans your cruise from what he learned on his, so the surprises are the good kind.

What we specialize in
31+ sailings

Cruises

Ships we have sailed, cabins we have slept in, and the shore days worth leaving the ship for. We match you to the right line first, then the right week, then the right deck.

Where we go

Cruises around the world.

01

Ocean cruises

Alaska, the Mediterranean, Asia and beyond. If a ship sails there, we can plan it.

02

River cruises

Europe's rivers, one old town after another, without repacking.

How it works

Three conversations, then you pack.

01

Tell us the shape of it

Who is coming, roughly when, and what a good day looks like.

02

We plan and price it

You get a few real options with the tradeoffs written out. We book it once you pick.

03

You go, and we help you reach the ship

If weather or something else outside your control throws off your trip to the port, we'll help you rearrange and rebook so you still make the ship. Once you're at the port or on board, you'll usually get the quickest help from the cruise line's own staff, so work with them directly.

Usually free

In almost every case, our planning costs you nothing: cruise lines pay us a commission on what you would have paid them anyway. Booking airfare does carry a fee, and if you want extra hands-on service, we'll agree any fee with you up front. And if you would be better off booking directly with the cruise line, we will tell you.
